The clinic was established to provide a low-stress, cat-friendly alternative to traditional mixed-animal practices, with features such as quiet waiting areas, feline-specific equipment, fear-free handling techniques, pheromone diffusers, and no exposure to dogs. It is accredited as an ISFM Gold Standard Cat Friendly Clinic, a distinction held by only a small number of veterinary practices in NSW.
